our philosophy

Augusta School was founded on the principles of quality, trust and family partnership. At Augusta School we are committed to providing a high quality education facility, devoted to maintaining an environment where self-esteem, self-discipline, respect for others, and love of learning is paramount. This commitment is supported by strong parent-teacher communication and involvement. Our success is linked to our high quality teaching staff, small classroom sizes, our educational literacy-based curriculum, and most importantly, communication. At Augusta School we possess the desire to teach and nurture children as well as families. This desire is essential in developing a positive self-identity for each child to succeed in his or her future.

Augusta School is the dream and passion of the Head Administrator and Owner, Heidi Green. Mrs. Green has over 20 years of professional teaching and management experience in the Early Childhood Education industry. Mrs. Green, a local Loudoun resident and the mother of two young children, fully understands how important early childhood education and care are to establishing the right foundation for children as they grow and develop.

My objectives for the school are to provide an environment where education is our focus, quality is exceptional, and self-esteem, self-discipline, love of learning and respect for others is paramount. Placing your child in childcare and/or preschool is a major parental decision, that we at Augusta School understand. Everyday we take the responsibilities of our job in caring for and educating children very seriously. It is our responsibility as educators and care-givers to provide a positive and successful experience for all the children we serve

-Heidi Green
